I collect and restore military surplus 5 Ton 6X6 vehicles as a hobby. I routinely have requirements to ship surplus parts and vehicles throughout the United States. I have established superb feedback through eBay as both a buyer and seller. I am the GIJoeCzar of the M939 series 5 Ton military truck and armytruckparts collector world and am established in many organizations and websites dedicated to military vehicle collecting and restoration. I do have an 8x20 fully enclosed cargo trailer that I occasionally use to ship items throughout the United States. I occasionally have unused space in that trailer that I would like to fill.

This is through no fault of the shipper; the party from whom he was purchasing the item misrepresented the location of the item. When we arrived to pick up the safe, we found it to be located in a basement, rather than in a ground level garage as we had been originally told. This is a very large and heavy item, and due to its location, we are unable to complete this load. We already spent considerable time and money in fuel to attempt to pick this item

That is how the company works. He had a problem with that and I am sorrywith it. I told him Id move it for the 306 that was the rest of the bid and he found another carrier instead. Response from gijoeczar: Paying upfront WAS an issue with me; look at this shippers feedback -- do you blame me for not wanting to pay upfront? The second reason I chose not to ship with this shipper is that he wanted extra money from me to pay HIS Uship fees. His bid included Uship fees, then he changed the deal. During my first communication with the company the representative was asking me questions about the load and stated that "someone else did the booking for them and didn't give him all of the information". Oops; problems, problems, problems. Now, here I am left holding the bag. Please feel ABSOLUTELY free to contact me through uship to receive the email addresses of the two separate individuals that ARS was supposed to contact to get this whole story. Response from ARSDeliveryServices: These 2 shipments had to be picked up separately and delivered together. We picked up 1 ( 800lb. safe) went to pick up the other and it was unavailable for pick-up even though we phoned ahead and confirmed. We then had to return the (800 lb. safe)to original destination unload and return home empty having to eat fuel and time expenses. We tried to accomidate shipper several times but seller of merchandise was not interested in getting items shipped. It was unfortunate for us all. It cost us $

Bottom line, this shipper wanted payment in full in advance and wanted to charge me more than his bid. He could have used the "bid plus uShip fees, but he didn't, and then expected me to eat the uShip down payment fee. Forget it. My last email to this shipper is below, but regardless, trust me, JUST STAY CLEAR OF THIS ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
