The name of our company is GBF Enterprises, Inc. We've been a licensed motor carrier for 2 years. We're a team operation, and are dot compliant. Ben the lead driver has 33 yrs over the road and learned how to drive hauling cattle for his dad 40 yrs ago. Sharon has 2 1/2 yrs over the road experience but has 50 yrs experience owning and training horses. We go to 48 continental United States and Canada. Our cargo insurance covers $5000.00/animal on the trailer. We have an 07 Western Star lo-max with air ride. , towing an 8 horse slant load w/padded stalls, Jamco trailer. Our equipement is completely air ride equipped with Closed Circuit TV in the Trailer. We dont stop for layovers as a rule as w/two drivers are available, one can sleep while the other drives. We do stop every night for 5 hrs to give the horses a break from traveling but will layover your horses upon request at an extra fee. The horses we haul are handled in a natural horsemanship manner.

gbfenterprises shipped our pony from Georgia to Canada, BC. Communicated all the way through. Happy to see a really nice clean hauling unit pull in our driveway, new & safe. Our pony was healthy & sound, no signs of distress at all. Ben & Sharon were so friendly after such a long haul. Made time for a quick coffee and discussed the haul. Hard to find quality service at an excellent price. I would use no one else. I would highly recommend. Thank you Ben & Sharon call us when your in town again.

Logan had a long drive ahead of him, going from Northern Maine to Houston Texas. I had a very positive experience with GBF, when I moved Lo to Maine from Massachusetts I had a really bad experience with a shipping company. I took a long time to decide who I wanted to ship him this time. I started in February and finally decided that GBF was the most professional, caring, and experienced to do the job. Logan had a trailer rub on his bum but nothing major. I will use GBF again if needed!!

Ben and Sharon are wonderful, caring horse people. They both put me at ease, as this was the first time I have shipped my "babies" any distance. They encouraged me to call while they were on the road and notified the boarding stable when they were in the area so they would be prepared. I would most definitely recommend GBF Enterprises. I am no longer able to accommodate this shipment After learning that our new trailer needed to be taken to the factory for some work, we started the huge task of trying to reschedule our trips. We tried to reach this customer by phone on Saturday, March 14. Most of our customers were able to wait until we can get back on the road. We also learned that our e-mail account (hotmail) that we used w/USHIP was stolen, therefore any correspondence that was sent to us, did not come thru. We sincerely apologize for any inconveince.

The customer no longer needed the item(s) shipped the shipper SGuinII called me on the day before I was supposed to pick up her horse and said she wasnt shipping the horse. Reason stated was that the horse would be happier where it was.. We didnt have any recourse. we'd been in touch with the receiver and they were expecting the horse. ben gbf

My coordinator was in touch with this lady and told her that we could move her horse by the 26th of Sept. She conveyed worries of moving her horse in a storm and couldn't make that load. We informed her our next trip to Fl. wouldn't be until the end of Oct. I've assumed that was the plan until I got this notice of cancellation. I can't recieve email in the truck and our cell is on at all times. She never called me. I didnt'realize there was a problem until it was too late..

No Detailed Feedback Available The Service Provider misrepresented themselves, their business or their services Once i gave the deposit, the shipper told me they could no longer ship the horse, since then i have not been able to get in touch!!!

the deposit wasnt given to us it was given to uship. we have been in touch Pat has responded to the clients email.. She did tell us shipment was flexible but it wasnt as flexible as i understood it.. We had an audit by IFTA and IRP and couldnt cancel it .. (Funny how the government is about some matters) Anyway I've offered to pay the deposit back if Usip didn't . I'm waiting for Uship to advise me on what they did and will proceed accordingly after their response..
