The shipment listing was misrepresented and the service provider cancelled The service provider bid on the shipment and arranged to have a service pick up the shipment. Upon arrival, the independent transportation company elected not to accept the job. My bid stated clearly that the object was a 800 lbs 5-drawer safe It is about the size of a large filing cabinet except much heavier. This safe can be moved on a dolly. My bid also indicated it was an inside pickup and the transportation company would have to move the safe down from the office to their truck. I al Response from fmacfr8: Our bid specifically stated that the item must be properly packaged and prepared for commercial freight. Your item was neither packaged nor palletized. The local carrier refused, rightfully, for fear of damaging the product. We apologize for any confusion this might have caused. Best of luck in the future. FMAC

The Service Provider did not show up at agreed upon date and time I had asked, prior to accepting the bid, when they could pick up. They replied that it would be within 24 hours of the order. 3 days later, I had heard nothing, sent an e-mail, and got no response. 6 days later, I called, and was cheerfully informed that no one had turned in the order! I was assured they would go the next day (Friday). As of Monday, still nothing. On Tuesday, still nothing, so I called another carrier who showed up within the hour and shipped it FOR HALF THE PRICE!! Obviously, I Response from fmacfr8: Communication is a two-way street. It is not our responsibility to track you down, if you do not return calls or emails. Our records indicate that we made several attempts to contact you which were not returned. I am unable to reach this Service Provider after a reasonable time period I accepted bid on Aug. 24 and immediately sent over paperwork regarding the shipment, requesting is further information was need that the could call me and muy number was listed. No calls were received, I sent an e-mailing to the freight handler on the 31st seeing if packages were shipped. Received a message on the 4th stating a form needed to be completed (9 days after the bid was accepted). Form was received on 9/10 with the form. Form was completed and returned, our aunction lot was abandone Response from fmacfr8: After communicating directly, I am not comfortable with this customer. We have communicated via email repeatedly regarding this transaction. The customer continually failed to complete and return the required paperwork. Our communication is all recorded and available for review should there be any questions.

There was a change to the shipping price or terms that could not be resolved they change shipping price 238.67 to 428.20.
i can't pay this much. Response from fmacfr8: The customer wanted additional services but did not want to pay for them. Our quote specifically indicated that the additional services were not included.

The Service Provider is not able to accommodate this shipment I contacted the service provider and we talked about the issues with my item (it's top heavy). Both the service provider and myself decided the best would be not to ship this item as it would require special handling that wasn't part of our original bid/acceptance.
The service provider was very flexible and both parties agree the match just wouldn't work out for this particular shipment. Communication was excellent and I would definately consider using this service provider for future shipments Response from fmacfr8: Simple mis-communication regarding the goods to be shipped. Once confirmed, we mutually agreed to cancel the transaction.
