I am thankful I used U-Ship.
1) Renee at Exp Van Lines tried to convince me to drop my contract with U-Ship and go only with Experienced Van Lines. I refused.
2) The delivery date was delayed 4 times. When they finally made the delivery, I was unable to take the shipment, and they dumped my goods in storage. They refused to give me the storage info without my giving them the payment code. Thankfully, Uship intervened and I got the info before having to pay them.
Please don't use them!

Here’s a list of the things that went wrong: Experienced Van Lines forced us to change our move out date, tried to renege on our initial discount of 10%, arrived 7 hours late on move out day, arrived 6 days after the promised delivery date, driver constantly changed details of arrival. The customer service was awful; angry and mean on the phone, refused to let us speak with a manager, would not answer or return calls. USHIP SHOULD NOT INCLUDE THIS COMPANY ON THEIR SITE.

everything was good up until after they had my stuff the communication wasn't very well and it took a while to get phone calls returned i also was in Texas about 2 weeks before i received my stuff

I found Experienced Vanlines to be a great moving company. After the bid was accepted I quickly was contacted by the moving company to prepare the contract & provided direct number for contact. They have experience with moves in New York City & promptly provided the insurance documents my building required I spoke with Renee throughout my move, and she is very professional and responsive. The company did take a while for delivery but they clearly state on contract they have XX days.

I could complain about a lot such as low balled estimates and broken things upon arrival. However, my biggest complaint was their communication. Once they have your stuff no one returns your phone calls. In some instances we were lied to just to ey us off their back for a few days. Our stuff all arrived but I was 2 weeks later than the original day they told us. Overall, I was not impressed. When taking your furniture apart to move they use shortcuts which in turn break or damage your things.

I don't where to begin...first, I had to constantly call to see when my boxes were coming. When they finally did arrive, the truck couldn't fit in my gated community and I ended up having to shuttle the boxes in my car from the gate to my building and carry them up three flights myself to avoid additional fees. They had no knowledge of my UShip payment and initially refused to release my items. My boxes were damaged and I had to disassemble some outside because they were too smashed to carry. Response from experiencedvanlines: The customer requested delivery for a particular date and was informed of her delivery window. There was a miscommunication regarding payment that was quickly resolved.Customer did not inform us there was no tractor trailer access at her delivery so she said for the movers to leave the shipment at the front gate of the complex because she dodnt want to pay for a shuttle to accomodate the delivery.

Their office was responsive, pleasant, and provided solid customer service. There was some confusion at pick-up with respect to additional charges, which have never really been cleared up, but the charges were nominal, so I wasn't that concerned.
Pick up and delivery was right on time.
I have yet to check on the condition of my possessions at delivery, as I'm out of town, but I suspect that everything is in good condition. I'll update my feedback if this isn't the case. I'd recommend t

Very friendly, helpful, professional,quick and accomdating group of movers.I had about a week to move(New York to Houston)and experinced vanlines made this made this happen despite the short notice. I also had to change my pick up date and for one day later which I thought could be a problem but not at all. Guys @ pickup/delivery were great! My contact person was Renee she was very helpful through out the entire process. Definetly was easier to contact her directly than using the 888 number.
