My name is Christine Friend,Friend's Express, LLC in Sprague River, Oregon. I have been in this industry for over 20 years and am now a company owner. I am a broker/carrier. We carry 100 thousand in cargo and 1 million in general liability. We have had to make some more positive changes in the office lately and are overcoming some of the negativity. To some of you who have had problems in the past, please let our new office try to please you and help you with your shipments. Our trucks do mostly LTL but we also do oversized and we pull various trailers to accomodate the shipment. I know that we will continue to grow with your support. The Service Provider did not show up at agreed upon agreed date & time This shipment has not been picked up. According to the bid details I accepted, this was to have been picked up within 5 days of booking and delivered within another 5 days. We are now into day 12. The sender has not been contacted by the shipper to coordinate pick up since the initial booking. I spoke with the shipper and they told me that another load from another client had taken up more room on the truck than expected and they were unable to load my shipment. They have not been able to schedu

Sorry things did not work out. I had a truck scheduled to pick this up today, but I guess it was too late. The first trucks partial grew and made Zac's piece unable to be loaded which threw things behind schedule. Tried to work things out, but was not able to do this for him. There was a change to the shipping price or terms that could not be resolved Carrier changed price of shipping. The shipping company was told the weights and number of pallets for each class. They told me what dimensions to enter into the contract and then when their trucker went to pick up the price went up. The actual shipment was less weight than posted because some of the goods had to be rerouted from another warehouse direct to me.

I did not over book this, the customer did not want to send back our contract so that I had the information on this. I didn't have any information for pickup and delivery, that is why I have a contract for shipping. All of my customers fill out the contract for me. Thanks, Christine

He accepted the rate for my original bid, not with the additions. Shipment should have been relisted to accomodate the changes that he made, after he was informed he chose the wrong bid, he decided to leave it that way for awhile. He obviously found someone else to ship this, but I shouldn't be penalized for his mistake. He is new to Uship and does not quite understand how this works. Thank you! Response from francesfarm143: listing was posted both ways as a single and for both pieces, and shipper answered that the rate was for both pieces, but on the single piece listing. would have avoided confusion if she included the total amount in her response as well. thanks.
