My company uses a 2013 RAM 1500 pick up to ensure that your shipment will get there when it is supposed to be. Along with the space on board the back of pick up and inside my cab I also tow a 5 x 8 utility trailer. While the trailer is not enclosed I protect all items COMPLETELY with blankets, then shrink wrap(extra cost), and finally wrap the item 100% with a HEAVY DUTY tarp. After the furniture items or other shipments have been protected I use multiple ratchets to secure items to pick-up bed or trailer.
