I own property in Colorado and a home in Vermont. Sometimes I drive between the two locations, and my brother's place in Texas. I used my Chevy Silverado on my last trip, but I have an older U-haul now, and if I can work an item into my trip to offset fuel costs then I'll consider taking it with me. I'm a CDL trucker when I'm working, but if I move items this way it is just as an arrangement between the owner and myself personally when I am on vacation or traveling for pleasure. I used the older Uhaul on the latest trip and it worked well, fitting everything inside and delivering it safely. I have moved several pieces of furniture, bus seats, music equipment. I'm not a full service mover but do the best to keep already wrapped items safe in transport and saving money off of full cost shipping. The mutual arrangment has worked well.
