I ship used office furniture, primarily in the US, but also to Canada. I advertise on my website (www.workplaceassets.com) and on Ebay, where I have a store (user name: wme1944). I ship full trucks, partial trucks on pallets,48 foot and 53 foot trailers, bobtails, and sometimes just need a cargo van. Normally, all product is loaded from a dock high facility, and packed individually, using cardboard for protection, and sometimes blankets.I recently shipped office furniture from Montreal to Louisians, in a total of (4) 53 foot trailers. Sometimes, these trailers are loaded at a jobsite - usually a building where the tenant is vacating or just selling the furniture. In the case of hand loading, this usually takes about 3-4 hours (a trailer) and about the same to unload.
