I am the actual service provider not a broker or forwarder. Retired after 20 yrs. from a city job, I'm available almost any time. I cover NY NYC LI NJ CT RI MA DE PA & MD, I carefully haul your items in a Chrysler mini-van or a large Ford F350 pick up truck w/ long bed, cap and have a 6x12 trailer available. I have a clean driving record & am fully insured. I personally guarantee the safe delivery of your shipment. A short condition report will be filled out & digital photos may be taken of item(s) upon initial pickup. I have a helper available if needed. I've successfully completed 82 shipments via UShip (since 10/05) for 82 satisfied customers (some forgot to post feedback). Please view listings of my completed jobs. Your shipments are well protected & cared for & I can usually help carry in & set items up for you. I can tow RV's as well as autos safely & fully insured on a 2 or 4 wheel trailer/dolly. Antique furniture & wrapped artwork carefully protected and transported also.

Member was five hours late for scheduled appointment; I had to call him to find out if he was ever coming. We agreed on a date two days later. He called at the end of the agreed-upon time range and said he would be there in an hour. I then fired him. Just not reliable. Please refund my deposit. View Listing Response from boxcarNY: Unfortunately, delays and problems that occurred during an earlier delivery that day from another shipper set me back several hours-add to that heavy rain and traffic delays that day in NY City and in the surrounding areas--this shipper was very impatient and uncooperative. Shippers need to realize that it is often difficult to coordinate several shipments in the same day within a region in order to offer competitive rates due to high gas costs especially in and aruond NY City.
