About the Company: Skipper Bud's of Illinois is a family owned marine recreation business. We sell Sea Ray, Azimut, Carver, Silverton, Four Winns and many other brands of boats ranging in size from 18 to 100 feet. We're in 23 locations in 7 states; primarily in the midwest but also in Mississippi, Florida and Arizona. We offer new and used product for sale as well as boats on brokerage. Our headquarters, located in Winthrop Harbor, IL, is halfway between Chicago, IL and Milwaukee, WI. Our buildings are positioned on the shores of Lake Michigan. We are the largest boat storage facility on the lake collocated with North Point Marina, the largest fresh water marina in the U.S., boasting 1500 slips. We have in-water sales slips giving us the ability to have a boat show virtually everyday of the season from April 1st until October 31st. We store 1100 boats in the winter and we have two versions of in/out service; a do-it-yourself launch and a forklift assisted in/out that many find convenient.
