Extremely difficult customer to work with. Never informed that these were wild horses, no current health records provided for transport, horses were left in a field for us to corral without assistance, hindered our efforts to provide emergency care even to our driver who was injured by one of the horses, refused payment of transport. A very bad situation that we should have walked away from but tried to help because we believed these were horses that needed to be rescued.

Response from bevdee: Horses were not 'wild'. 1 mare was 30, 2nd mare was 17. Gelding was emaciated 26 yo. 1-1/2 day late p-up. Hauler was told load older 1st & 17 yo would follow. Hauler was rarely in touch unless I made call. Hauler chased mares after dk, put both in small stall, spooked them somehow, and forgot to tell you that bec of his negligence 1st mare broke leg and had to be euthanized, and 2nd collapsed in trailer from heat & no one treated her. full report w/pics on our web site soon: Bright Futures Farm
