Alaska Logistics has provided scheduled barge service from Seattle, Washington to various ports throughout Western Alaska since 2003, with service to surrounding villages, Central Alaska, and charter of marine equipment. We have our own equipment fleet including forklifts, loaders, trucks, barges, tugs, landing craft, and hundreds of containers and shipping platforms. Our team employs close to fifty staff, including crew members, consolidators, schedulers, checkers, project managers and operation coordinators. Alaska Logistics’ core competencies include transporting goods into shallow waters, up rivers and into hard to reach ports. Our provided consolidation services and willingness to transport freight of all sizes has allowed us to accommodate shipper’s needs. We offer seasonal service throughout our Western Alaska ports and villages, operating from April through October. All shipments are personally quoted by our sales team, who will get your shipment to and from its destinatio
