After communicating directly, I am not comfortable with this Service Provider Service provider cannot confirm or even schedule a pickup or delivery. After numerous calls and e-mails there is still no pickup date seven days after a booking. Service provider is a broker and was unprepared for this type of delivery. After phone call today 7-24 @ 12 noon EST he still will not commit to a pickup date let alone a delivery. I am not waiting to relist my equipment, the service provider already knows i am doing this I am doing it now.

Our standard terms call for 5 days to arrange pickup and 5 days to deliver. We cannot begin the process to secure a truck until we have been notified the freight is ready to ship. Customer accepted our bid on 7/17, notified us it was ready to pickup on 7/21, and called on 7/23 to advise he was canceling the order.

abtodd did a good job in communicating initially. However, when the truck had mechanical problems, I had a difficult time getting information on when the shipment would arrive. The delivery did take place on the updated schedule, but I was not sure until one hour prior. It wasn't a negative experience, but it wasn't a positive either. Neutral. The shipment did arrive in good order and the people were pleasant to work with. I just wish the communication had been stronger.

Equipment breakdowns are a particularly difficult situation to work through. In this instance additional problems were detected once repairs were underway, and a 2 day job turn into a 4 day job. Unfortunately we cannot anticipate a revised delivery schedule until we know the truck is fully repaired and back on route. We know these are frustrating situations, and wish they could be avoided.
