R&L Carriers is a family owned nationwide trucking company that developed YOU CRATE for the small business and residential moves. While we are not new to the trucking industry we are new to USHIP. YOU CRATE will deliver a crate to the shipping location assembled and ready for packing. It is the customers responsibility to pack the container. We do offer a driver assist program at no additional charge with a 1/2 hour max load time. The driver is in no way responsible for packaging materials or for securing the shipped items, he may only HELP place items in the container. All items must be in an area (garage, drive way, etc) that is pallet jack accessible. Our drivers are not permitted to go in to homes, up steps or on elevators. YOU CRATE offers insurance with a max of $7500.00 per order. YOU CRATE is closed on weekends and major holidays.

A scheduling conflict arose that could not be resolved Although I accepted the bid and received info from the shipper that I would receive the packing crates within two days, they completely closed for 6 days and did not respond to my emails until AFTER the crates were supposed to have been delivered. I tried repeatedly to contact the shipper but to no avail so I had to make other arrangements. Therefore, I WANT MY DEPOSIT BACK MONDAY or I will report UShip to the WA State Attorney General's office.

Our company was closed from 5:30pm on the 24th (Christmas Eve), the 25th (Christmas Day), 26th, and 27th (the weekend). Holiday weekend and this is normal business hours for most business' over Christmas. The customer did not book the order until 11:30pm on Christmas Eve, after hours. We were closed for 4 days not 6. I could have provided her with the containers had the order been booked before 11:30pm on Christmas Eve.

The Service Provider is not able to accommodate my shipment I hired the shipper based on their representation that they could help pack and load the stove. When their driver arrived to pick up the stove, he told the seller of the stove that it was too heavy, that he couldn't load it, and it needed to be shipped by common carrier or it would be damaged in transit. I have lost faith in this shipper.

In our profile to customers it clearly stated we are not responsible for packaging of the item, that we provide the container and shipping and a driver assist program to HELP place items in to the container, not to pack the item in full. When we arrived there was no help to load this 350lb stove. We are a common carrier and a well known one. We provided the service that is noted CLEARLY in our profile and no less. We followed up with the customers on both ends and offered several options.

When our driver arrived there was no help to load this 350lb. stove and our driver wasn't lifting this himself. The customer wanted our driver to load and pack the stove, not the service we provide per our profile. We are a nationwide, well known carrier, our driver would not tell a customer we would damage his freight to ship it with another company. Our claims ratio is less than 1%
