Our household was picked up on 3/24, moving from MA to CA. Gary insisted we pay the entire amount in advance- we did. Bid was for $1,850. He said our items would arrive in CA in 7 days- 2 weeks maximum in case of emergency. After not returning a ton of calls and emails- he finally got back to me saying our items will be here Apr 15 (3 weeks from p/u.) Just got a call from original pick up driver- he still has our things in NY, Gary has not paid him or returned calls for pick. We pay rent 4/15!!

Response from TouringLogistics: Is it the 15th or am I in a time warp? We had a delivery date set with client of 4-15-08. Now the client wants to leave negative feedback? I am at a loss. Client threatened us with negative feedback if we did not send her items on a dedicated truck to LA. That is out of control!! feedback is so powerful and so abused by shippers.
Negative feedback left prematurly is permenant & carries negative impactful as well. How does this do either side any good? This is permenantly damaging!

The pick up experience was great. The movers were there as scheduled. The delivery experience is something that has yet to be explained. We are still waiting on our delivery. I know that movers are very busy people. It has now been 2 weeks since our things were picked up. We are now just waiting and wondering when our things , mainly the kids things will be delivered.

It has now been 4 weeks (28 days) since my shipment was picked up by your driver for delivery to my residence in San Francisco. I paid the agreed upon pickup, shipping, and delivery fee of $400.00 in advance of the pickup and have not received any ETA for delivery as of today (4/7/08). Over twice as much time has passed than your original pre-pickup delivery estimate (2 weeks).
I am still waiting to a response to my multiple voice mail and email messages requesting an estimated delivery date.

Response from TouringLogistics: You just can't please everyone. This is a complete lie. We told the clietn we run scheduled MONTHLY shuttles. His date was entered as "FLEXIBLE". We made him aware that we could either pick-up his mattress wight away ro wait for the April shuttle. he said he needed it removed from the property right away. We did what the client asked. No the client reversed his payment and expects to be a priority? Yes, we had a mechanical issue which caused a delay as well as a personel change.

Response from TouringLogistics: I was truly pround to transport this piece of equipment to Colorado from NY for Michael & Judy. As a Sgt for the NYPD and his wife being a retired detective, they oversaw the pick-up and delivery of this 4000lb $60,000.00 piece of medical equipment. He was with us while we hoisted the unit onto our truck and met is in Denver when we hoisted it off and delivered it inside the home of a very special little boy that was in need of this of equipment.
We were pround to work for Mike & Judy!!!

A scheduling conflict arose that could not be resolved.
Although I was quoted a shipment pickup date of February 25th, the shipment provider could not accomodate this date and I could not negotiate another shipment date/time with this shipper.

After communicating directly, I am not comfortable with this Service Provider.
I am not confortable paying up front for a shipment or with the providers payment methods.

Response from TouringLogistics: I can fully understand. However, 137 people that shipped with us through USHIP.com felt otherwise. Wish we could have helped.

I will not bash Gary. Never spoken to him, other than email in which he was initially attentive to my emails about paying him prior to shipment. My good were picked up Feb 5 to be delivered Feb 11 and on Feb 20 I was told (after 6 emails from me) my goods would be delivered the next week. Have not heard from Gary at all. His email address no longer works and he doesn't return calls. I fear my items are gone. Interesting that he responded to another user on Uship today - why not contact me?

Response from TouringLogistics: Spoke to this client the day this feedback was left. Client was informed that the transit time was 14-21 days due to our routing. We were in constant contact. Our email has NEVER been down. We recieve email in our trucks, on our PDA's as well as in our offices.
Client apologized for his premature feedback. All is well. It is very hard to please everyone in the wasy they expect to be pleased.

Response from TouringLogistics: Excellent shipper. Payment in advance. Easy drop off. I wish every client was as honest, helpful and wasy to work with. This move had two pick-ups, one in Texas and one in Florida, both to be delivered to NY with a tight time wondow. We got it done. Items exported to assist in disaster relief. We were happy to assist.
