The customer misrepresented the shipment, and I cannot service it While some of the shippers statements have merit, the essence of my refusal to take the unit was two fold: A) the brakeaway cable for the emergency brake actuator was broken and B) regardless of what the Copart people say they saw in terms of lights, I saw NO lights actively working on this trailer when it was plugged into my system. That includes all running lights and all sidelights or flashers. Both of these items necessarily must be completely operable to legally pull a trailer on hwy

The customer misrepresented the shipment, and I cannot service it I do not reject the request for cancellation provided that it never counts against my excessive cancellation scores. After all, the shipper changed his mind about how he wanted it shipped. It is evident in the Q&A that he was thinking about having it driven and that is what my selection of the Book-it-now feature was based upon. In other words, this shipment request was bogus.

No Detailed Feedback Available The Service Provider is not able to accommodate this shipment Transporter wanted to tow unit down street to have problems fixed. Said unit was not towable, that lights and brakes were not working, but storage yard said they were indeed working to include driving lights, flashers and brake lights. They towed unit 200 miles. Driver said he could not walk to the office which was 300 feet. He dropped unit and my storage fees keep multiplying.

Shipper does NOT get that I want his work and am in business to haul; not be a fix-it man for an inoperable safety brake system, NO side lights and NO running lights or a dolly system that would not work. The first 3 of these issues MAKE the unit illegal for hauling and regardless what the YARD says (taken there in Sep.?), they were all defunct and my partner on board will testify to same. It needed repairs to be roadworthy. Oh yeah - I drove to the office because I WALK WITH A CANE "IDIOT"!

There was no way to know it could not be driven because the shipper did not block out "drive-away" as a method and was conversing with other service providers about the vehicle being in road worthy condition. I took the "book it now" offer assuming I could drive it. No hard feelings. I just don't want this to count against me.

I wouldn't recommend me as a great "loader'" either. You chose me because of my promise to secure your bike properly and keep it secured from loss. That's what I do. Had you read my terms & conditions days earlier, you may have noted that I said I would need help loading and unloading due to my arthritic hip & knee. Most, no, every other shipper I have worked with was willing to help. Sorry you weren't able or even willing to try. I am sure we could have worked it out. I solve problems.
