I have 27 plus years experience with horses, cows and other farm animals. I don’t claim to know everything there is to know, but do have a lot of experience handling animals. I feel the key is patience and persistence along with the care needed to assure a safe and enjoyable trip for the animals. Communication with the owner is also an important factor to assure the owner that everything is on schedule and that their horse is safe. If I’m responsible for loading, we do it my way. I will load it without the use of whips, and I won’t run it onto the trailer. The calmer way is always better for me and the horse. When your horse is in my care, it will be checked on every two hours and rested on the fourth hour (short trips are half way through). Breaks are done in a quiet area, not truck stops or rest areas. You horse will have hay and water at all times. The owner should furnish the hay so that it gets what its use to eating.

Good horseman, clean rig, reliable. The farm my horses were picked up at also gave him a thumbs up for his gentle handling of a jittery yearling. Will definitely use this shipper in the future.

Very nice, excellent price, and kept me updated on my horse every few hours. (Never made me feel like I was bothering him by calling to check on my boy).... Took his time on mountain roads, and stopped often. My horse arrived after a 12 hour journey sound and fresh. Would definitely use Terry again. Thank you!!!

Outstanding job Terry! Maintained constant communication. Mare is in foal ready to drop in 10 days. She arrived safe and very calm. Thank you so much for our new addition. I will let you know how the birth goes and send pictures of our new foal. Thanks again for a great job. We will be calling when we find our next new mare.
