I work as a pilot car for oversize loads. I'm lookin to find a load going to or near wisconsin so I can make a little bit of money on the way home. Also looking to pick up some work in the winter while other work is slow. Mainly what I'm looking for are boat hauls. The company is at this point just one truck. I have transported a few boats for a local marina. Just starting to get into the Uship site. The insurance thing is strange, State farm and progressive will not insure a boat that I don't own. I have looked online and googled all types of insurance with no success. Although as long as the owner of the boat has it fully insured it would be covered on the trip. UPDATE I have found a insurance company that does give trip insurance, and I've used it a few times now. Unfortunately it would be an additional charge.
