In 1932, E. Ward King decided to provide a freight service between the industrial markets of the South and the North. In those days the Mason-Dixon Line divided the North and the South. The slogan "Now joining the North and the South" developed, showing General Grant and Lee shaking hands that would at last pull the two together.
Today, The Mason and Dixon Lines, Inc. continues its tradition with over 75 years of superior service to its customers. Boasting a fleet of nearly 800 professional and safety-oriented owner-operators, it has expanded its operations from it's "North and South" beginning to include 48 states, Canada, and Mexico.
