I have had great luck with the shipper independently getting insurance for the item to be shipped. I also make sure I have the proper coverage but the additional independent policy is the best.

Hi Folks,, I'm interested in making sure that if you decided to use me to haul your property you are completely satisfied. I spent over 25 years hauling my own equipment with my own trucks and trailers and I currently still haul my personal antique farm equipment to shows throughout the year. I understand the value in being able to load your belonging and be able to relax until you see it on the other end knowing that it is being cared for. Its a crazy world we live in and there is no way for anyone to say they never will have an accident. In my case I haven't had a moving violation in over 25 years and you can be certain that I haul with the best care and equipment that is available. Let me know what you need. I'm very flexible and can deal with a large variety of situations. I'm open to hauling with enclosed trailers, open deck trailers, I'll pull your trailer and I have been asked to drive customers rigs to various locations.
