I am an independent owner-operator based near Raleigh, NC specializing in equipment hauling but can also haul vehicles or other small items. I am leased to a small carrier in West TX named Hacker 5 Trucking. I've been trucking since 1992 mostly East of the Mississippi river plus Texas. I pull a 50 foot drop deck semi-trailer with equipment ramps and can haul up to 46,000#. Rates for a full load begin at $2.15 per PC Miler Practical mile and go up from there for extra stops or other add-on services. Oversized load rates can be quoted on request (be prepared with many details pertaining to size and weight for such specialized loads). LTL/Partial loads begin around $1 per practical mile. A relatively steady gig of partials that fit well with primary loads could be run for a small discount. I don't participate in the TerraPass program because the fuel saving products I use in my truck also reduce my emissions by over 75% so I have that well covered.
