Hi, my name is Bob Davidson owner of DAVIDSON PONY EXPRESS. I have hauled horses for family and friends for many years. I have over 55 years experience with horses and 40+ accident free years as a professional truck driver. After a only few months of retirement I decided it wasn't for me, so I started hauling horses on a regular basis. I drive a Ford F250 and pull a Four Star 4 horse slant load trailer. My trailer is equipped with an onboard monitoring system, with audio and video. This allows me to see and hear what's going on in the trailer at all times during the trip. I stop every 2-3 hours to check the horses and give them a break from riding. They have free choice hay and fresh water throughout the trip. If we stop over night the horses can be put up in a horse hotel at an additional cost to the shipper/owner of the horse. I carry a cell phone and my laptop with me at all times so the owners can get ahold of me if need be.
