I have owned my own Peterbilt semi-truck, since 1991 and have had my MC/DOT # since 1998. I pull a 2020 48' air ride step deck trailer. I also use a 2015 F350 dually and 4 horse LQ to travel to Shows. I compete USEF/USHJA in the Jumpers and haul all my own horses. I unload every 3-5 hours for walking and water, clean the trailer and re-bed with fresh shavings. At least every 20 hours I layover for rest. Hay is provided at all times, unless otherwise requested. My truck is air ride and trailer is large enough for Warmbloods. I have trucked for 35+ years, over 4.5 million miles in the lower 48 States, through Canada and spent 2+ years in Alaska running the Haul Road. (Dalton Highway, from Fairbanks to Prudhoe Bay) For over 10 years, I hauled cows with a pot. The trailers were mostly 53', triple or 4 axle. I raise, train, show, and sell American Paint Horses.
