The Service Provider is not able to accommodate this shipment By no fault of Steve's, my mast is a bit longer than his trailer can support. I would have happily shipped with Steve, as he seemed like a good carrier, and communicated well. Thanks steve, maybe next time.

The Service Provider did not show up at agreed upon date and time I accepted bid because service provider promise to pick up my boat between
3/10/11 and 3/11/11 and deliver within 2 days of pick up. He failed to do it
and ask to reschedule. And two weks past 3/24/11 there is no schdule to move
my boat. I need my boat now, and Im afraid he is not able to move my boat.
I want cancel this listing and bid. And I require my deposit money back to my Payal account. Response from MonkeyFist: My bid stated that I would pick up on 3/10-3/11. I was on the way to pick up but the shipper had not contacted the marina to make sure they could have the boat ready. In fact, the marina could not have the boat ready by the dates specified in the bid. I am willing to reschedule but for the moment had to service other shipments who were prepared.

I no longer need my item(s) shipped I could not wait for trucker as costs to keep boat on land too expensive. Will moore boat in Portrland and wait for better weather to sail boat to Victoria.
Please issue refund ASAP.
Thank You
George Carroll
Response from MonkeyFist: The bid was accepted on Jan 5th with the stipulation that I had to be able to pick it up within 5 days. Within 48 hours the shipper left a voicemail saying that the boat would be ready to ship until the 17th, 12 days after the bid was accepted. I could not wait and I sent the shipper a message stating that I would return to the area soon for his boat. I had costs associated with staying in the area for 2 days prior to his voicemail and now I will have a cancellation against me. I was there.

The Service Provider misrepresented themselves, their business or their services I would not recommend Steve MonkeyFist to anyone who has time sensitive freight or anyone who would like to telephone, text or email and communicate with their freight carrier. Steve arrived at the factory Dec 18 not on Dec 14 as per agreement. Steve did say he was sorry and refunded my payment in full within 24 hours.
, Here is a quote from the factory:
"The truck showed up today at 4:30 central time. It had a trailer with a very large sailboat on it with the mast running the length of Response from MonkeyFist: The shipper was advised what kind of trailer I had and that I would have a sailboat on it. He failed to disclose that the plows were articulated. The employee at the plant stated that he had told the shipper that he needed a flatbed and that the shipper insisted on setting up his own shipping even though they advise against it due to past experiences such as this.

A scheduling conflict arose that could not be resolved Shipper was to pickup load on 4/21 but was unable to arrive until afternoon of 4/22. The trailer had wiring issue that was not known by us and could not be repaired until following morning. Shipper could not wait and could not reschedule pickup in time to accomodate our needs. Response from MonkeyFist: Terms of the bid were for it to be picked up within 4 days of booking. Bid accepted Mon 4/19 & I was on site Thur 4/21. The shipper said this was a road ready trailer with electric brakes. Upon arrival I found the trailer did not have a plug for lights & brakes, was missing several lights, had 2 flat tires (1 cut), a bent rim, & the spare was shredded. I have photos of these. Contacted shipper by phone (he was at the destination & not on site). Cost me about 10 hours and $85 in fuel.

The Service Provider did not show up at agreed upon date and time The Service provider did not show up and has not responded to E-mails, texts, and phone calls since 8:45 AM on 10/19. Response from MonkeyFist: On 10/15 in response to a question about when I could pick this item up I asked the shipper "Tell me when you need it picked up and let me see if I can modify my schedule." In the meantime I was awarded another shipment which took up most of the space on my trailer. The shipper awarded the job to me on 10/16 without further discussion regarding the schedule. I tried to accomodate him, but my first commitment was to the shipment which was booked first. The shipper needed this faster.
