The Service Provider is not able to accommodate my shipment.
After attemps to reach the shipper, I got the news that after a visit to the hospital he does not want to fulfill agreement. He did not try to reach me at least to let me know. At last minute had to find a provider at much higher cost. Want my deposit back.

The Service Provider did not show up at agreed upon agreed date & time.
he called and asked if he could wait and deliver something to Maine first, my delivery could not wait, shipper was leaving for thanksgiving, I never heard from transporter again. I want my deposit back ASAP, thanks

Response from LightningFast: We were very busy at this time approaching Thanksgiving time and meeting deadlines. The customer did not have the dates exact and we were on the way from Las Vegas to Maine to pick up a craft going to Alabama. The customer had no understanding of the business aspect that was proposed at the time of acceptance, and we had to cancel. As the customer stated, his delivery could not wait, and neither could we.

The Service Provider is not able to accommodate my shipment.
The Shipping provider didn't have a truck that was not big enough to pull my trailer safely. My trailer weights in at 7000lbs. I would prefer to have someone with at least a 3/4 ton truck with a weight distribution hitch to accomodate load distribution bars. The shipper and myself both agreed for safety reasons that they shouldn't pull my trailer.

We did feel that the job could have been done, but due to the fact that my wife and child are on this trip, it is not worth the risk going through the mountain passes with the weight.. wind.. and weather conditions that could arise, in which we came to this conclusion. Curtes did a GREAT job! He did what 3 other carriers couldn't. He did what he said and when he said he would with exceptional communication skills. Patient, detail oriented and he kept me informed every step of the way. This was a major cross country haul and he made excellent time. He even drove an extra 16 hours to meet my changing needs. After communicating directly, I am not comfortable with this Service Provider.
I had requested bond and insurance info before shipping. the shipper requested that i pay the 855.00 dollar deposit prior to them sending me the insurance info and i do not feel comfortable giving any one that amount of money with out first being able to verify they are a legit company.
Shipper did not know what bonding was so it places doubts if he even is bonded. Incase something happens i need assurances that my shipment will not only be safe from damage but also from theft or disaperance

Response from LightningFast: The deposit that we request on all shipments covers the cost that we have to pay to insure YOUR specific shipment. We do not come out of pocket to cover insurance without a deposit, for "this same reason"... a customer cancels and we are left having paid 200$ in the blind !!! We never spoke of bonding information, as I clearly don't understand what is meant by we don't know what being bonded is!!! That's ridiculous, as we blatently told you that we are NOT bonded as we are a small company.
