About the Company: We manufacture and sell fiberglass and aluminum drift fishing boats. The majority of these boats are under 20 feet in length including the tongue of the trailer. The total weight including trailer is 850 pounds. We like these to be transported by trailer instead of towing them on the boat trailer, however in some instances we do trailer them. We have our own trucks for many deliveries when we have 4 to 7 boats being delivered to the same area. However many times we have one or two boats that need to be delivered before we have plans to send our truck across the country and that is when we would like to use Uship to make those deliveries. One of our truck drivers is planning on retireing this next year and we would like to see if the Uhip method of transport would work better than having the expense of 2 diesel trucks, trailers, and drivers. Customer service is a huge issue with us and we are in a test mode with Uship to make sure it is our best option.
