I have been a licensed driver for 30 years. A substantial portion of that time has been spent as a professional driver delivering passengers and products to their destinations safely. I have also been involved with animals in my personal life as well as transporting other people's furry family members safely and successfully. If transporting live animals, stops will be made, to ensure they are cared for top to bottom, that means exercised, fed, watered, and interaction. I'll treat your pet as if they were my own furry family member/. I stop every 2-3 hours to take dogs for walks, water, and potty breaks-check on, water, and feed cats/other pets-this could take 20-60 minutes which might end up making an 8 hour drive, a 10 hour drive. Pets are kept comfortable while en route in a climate controlled environment. When I stop for the day, I arrange pet friendly hotels via Priceline and your pet(s) stays with me inside where he/she can be fed, stretch their legs, and sack out for the night.
