Response from GFI: This was a 20 year old riding lawnmower purchased on ebay by shipper. On delivery shipper claimed a small bolt was bent on mower and attempted to get out of paying for shipping. Very minor damage was obviously done prior to shipping and it became obvious the shipper was simply looking for an excuse to be unhappy.

Honestly I should have used ForwardAir. This shipment took over a month to complete, and Van only answers about 1 in 50 phone calls. I left voicemail after voicemail, with absolutely NO response. Next time I'll just walk across the country and carry my item back, it would take less time! When he did speak to me, I got every excuse in the book, and all I wanted was a return phone call. I'm certain that paying an extra $100 to ship commercially is worth it.

Response from GFI: A major delay (not our fault) in the "sister" shipment and the Christmas holidays caused the delay in this shipment. The shipper originally was understanding but after a semi polite delivery decided that he wasnt happy. The bike was transported in perfect condition with utmost personal care. You wont get that from Forward Air! We even paid for INDOOR and SECURE storage of the bike while waiting on our delayed pickup since HIS seller was leaving the country.
