I have been in the shipping business for over 24 years - the last 12 with my own companies (2). I primarily handle music tours and specialised shipping, artwork, residential moves - with int'l components etc etc. I have a network of agents across the globe and have travelled both Int'l and domestic routes for clients. I joined uship in 2004 but have rarely used it as a tool as i found the prices to be almost laughable. People want you to move their cherished art work, car or animal 3000 miles, door to door with extreme care but only pay pennies on the dollar. Having said that, for a fair price my company will personally transport, any item, except hazardous or illegal substances. To most destinations, domestic or int'l.
