BEWARE, HORRIBLE experience, 33 days terminal-terminal, lied to numerous times about delivery dates, if you plan to ship with DAS consider factoring in an additional $450 ($30x15d) for a rental car. No partial refund offered and denied when requested, complete customer service failure. I didn’t buy their insurance, from reading online, as a carrier they are required to carry insurance and pay claims against damage they cause, they attempt to charge you to subsidize their premiums.

Pick-up time of 10-2 was planned by the Northern VA port; they did not arrive until after 3. This was frustrating because I was not there and a relative who was doing me a favor was inconvenienced. Car arrived in San Diego sooner than I had anticipated and in good condition without any damage that I appreciated. I went to the port myself to pick up the car instead of having it delivered to my door. This worked out well and they washed the car before turning it over. I would use DAS again.

There was a change to the shipping price or terms that could not be resolved. The shipper want to up price because it was a Porsche. They new what the make and model of the car was before they send out a bid.

There was clearly two vans listed and they quited the shipment only to come back and say they were going to double the price. No thanks!
