Coast to Coast, Overnight Layovers & Excellent Care. We have a horse farm in Oregon where we raise Friesian Sport Horses. During the trip Bill stops every 3-4 hours to let the horses rest, offer water and refill the hay. At night the horses are taken off the trailer and put into individual box stalls for 10-12 hours at facilities along the route. This layover allows the horses time off the trailer to move around and rest prior to the next days trip. Bill stays with the horses in his quarters so they are not left unattended. The trailer is cleaned out daily and new bedding is added. Bill is an experienced, patient and caring horse person as well and an excellent, cautious driver. We have been transporting horses for many years and also have excellent references away from the Uship site. Special needs horses are not a problem. Bill and Candace took a bad experience and turned it into a good one for me- the other shipper I had originally scheduled canceled at the last minute, and Bill was able to back track and pick up my filly for me.Peyton arrived in excellent shape after almost 4 days and 1800 miles from Iowa to Oregon. Bill took extra time resting her and made sure she drank plenty of water. Candace contacted me every morning and evening letting me know how the trip was going and where they were.They are the best!

They were awesome! We had to move 4 horses from FL to NE and that's a long trip. I was so nervous but Bill assured me that my horses would be taken care of, and they were. when it came time to pick them up it took a long time to load one of my horses(she had never been loaded) but he understood and was ok with it. He's also great with horses, when libby was acting weird he stayed up almost the whole nite. Candace was so helpful and she always kept us informed. I would definitely use them again.

My horse Gala is 29 years old and I worried about how well she would do on such a long journey - over 3500 miles, but she did very well. She arrived in good health. I could tell she had bonded with Bill and her other traveling companions & I know she missed them. Candace called me daily and gave me updates as to how far they had come each day. Candace and Bill were incredible. Art's journey from Oregon to New York was a long one, no doubt, and he arrived relaxed and in very good shape. It was though he had only been in that trailer for a couple of hours. Constant updates along the journey were quite helpful and reassuring and I would like to thank both Bill and Candace for bringing him to his new home safe and secure. I would, without a doubt, use or recommend their service to anyone.

No Detailed Feedback Available The shipment listing was misrepresented and the service provider cancelled This is my first booking with Uship. I have to disagree with the shipper that I misrepesented this shipment. I guess I should have not took for granted that a horse transporter deals with all types of horses and would not be able to deal with these brood mare's that have not being handled much. I had a half sister to these 2 shipped in Jan that was loaded in a slant load and made a trip from Texas. When she was deliverd I led her right down to the Barn so it never crossed my mind of any worries.

After communication with the sellers of the mares in Tx/Ar we were told the mares were from a lg ranch in Tx. The Ar mare had never had a halter on. The Tx mare would pull back if led forward. Both mares previously run into stock trailer and hauled loose. Both sellers felt the horses would panic if confined and hurt themselves. We overnight each night & horses off the trailer. Sellers felt this would would not be safe. We do not want to put horses we haul into an unsafe situation.

The bid was accepted on 2/16/10. A phone call was made to Jessie that day and a contract sent. The contract was returned on 2/17/10. Jessie told me email communications would be best as she is going to school. On 2/17/10 she called and we talked about adding another horse. I told her we were full for this trip but, would return to Il soon if needed. She did not make her deposit via Paypal as agreed. On 2/18 she said horse deal not going through. Confused on the no communications statement.
