I am no longer able to accommodate this customer’s shipment.
I arrived at the customer's location at the time & date agreed upon, but on attempting to hook up to customer's trailer, my 5th wheel hitch would not latch, and I could not safely tow customer's trailer. A later inspection of the hitch assy found a broken spring. Parts will have to be ordered from the hitch manufacturer, and I expect to be out of service for 7-10 days. I contacted another transport company to try to get the customer's trailer moved as soon as possible.
