This provider worked with my delivery dates and the transport company that ultimately delivered the vehicle was just wonderful - driver/owner took great care and was most pleasant. My fault for not obtaining a description of transportation (no enclosed trailer - rained enroute and the tarp was insufficient and shredded and one item was damp on delivery). I don't know if this driver was insured and/or bonded - forgot to ask. He was a man of few words, but the job got done and I am happy to have my furniture! Response from CarolinaMovers: type vehicle stated w/bid. Tarps ruined by wind 1st 200 miles, when light rain hit last 50 miles made 10 stops under cover 2 allow rain 2 pass & re-cover items. One piece damp was box spring. Spent 14 hrs on 9 hr job 2 do everything 2 protect all pieces. Open 2 as much communication as desired. Customer didn't express noticeable concerns at delivery time. Apologize 4 things beyond our control. Have transported valuable antiques, same truck, no problems due to our efforts to protect cargo.
