My shipment was completed with good communications from the broker. However, they said 4 days guaranteed delivery and it was more like 6 business days
Also, the bid did state if the dimensions and weight were not correct, then additional charges could apply, nothing else about extra charges. After I received my shipment, I got an email stating that YRC (the carrier) was charging me extra for "calling me before delivery" and for not having the BOL attached.
Ask about any "extra" charges

The Service Provider is not able to accommodate this shipment After multiple attempts by Jason at Hometown, he was not able to coordinate with the company (Government Liquidations) who had my pallet. He claimed it was their fault and they did not fill out the waybill. After contacting GL, I found out that Jason did not fill out the way bill for UPS, so they (UPS) could pick it up. After trying to contact Jason these past three days with no reply and my pallet still sitting with possible storage charge, I have to cancel. Bad communication, very shading

Very good communications, very prompt. I had a great experience with this shipper and would use them again

Shipper did not read the bid, I had stated that the truck needed to be winched onto a truck, it did not run. He wanted to charge me extra on top of the bid. Communications were ok but he passed me off to another trucker to handle the load. He also had in his profile that he accepted credit cards but when it was delivered, he no longer did.
Item was delivered in good shape but had to do some offloading away from my house which I did not want to do in the first place. Response from freightconcepts: Wade you accepted the bid after i said a winch and ramps would be more money? Also its hard to communicate with someone who works the graveyard shift.... We never talked about a credit card until you handed my father (not another trucker) a credit card after we unloaded? He also offered to help you tow your truck home at no cost a block away...

After communicating directly, I am not comfortable with this Service Provider Bid was accepted on 8/21. Today is 9/26. I have placed many calls to this company and finally after threatening to cancel, did they call back.
They were constantly saying they would call back and that my shipment was "top of the list". It has been over a month with no results.
Very bad communication and a very long time finding someone to ship this for me. I have found someone else to ship this.
