About Me
Pete is a boat restoration specialist, with over 40 years experience. Living in South Florida since the 1960's, attended U of M from 1979 to 1983, majoring in Accounting.
Most of the boats that I restore are fiberglass construction, about half have balsa coring. Almost all boats have plywood transoms that usually need replacing. I prefer to recore transoms with Coosa expanded polyurethane. To save weight, I prefer Divinicell or Corecell for the floors and bulkheads.
Material costs are so expensive, that I must search for special pricing. Every element of the restoration must be carefully purchased, otherwise the boat's cost will far exceed all buyer's ability to pay.
I much prefer the styles of 1950s through 70s. Designs were simple then, speedboats had no berths or galleys. There was an entire generation of Americans raised with boating and fishing as a pastime. I long for a return to basics, boating should not being only to the rich.

It was a pleasure doing business with Peter and I would be happy to haul for him anytime. He even gave me a nice tip. Thanks.

My highest praise for Matt and his driver, Roger. Both were very professional. I was kept informed by telephone through every phase of this cross country flat bed transport of my 29 ft motor coach. Matt responded to my UShip request with a reasonable quote. He was able to find a return shipment, and load my bus by the promised date. Although my vehicle was running terribly, Matt and Roger were patient, and were able to get this sick bus loaded on the flatbed. Thanks Matt and Roger for A+ service

Doing business with Mr. Ronnie Willis was like having an old friend transport my boat over 1000 miles. This boat was over 30 years old and on a semi-rusted trailer. The bearings and the tires were questionable, but Ronnie said that he could deal with it. It gave me total confidence, and I didn't have any worries. The transport job has a happy ending. My boat made it over the same highways that were in the news only days earlier when a winter ice storm had hundreds of cars stranded overnight.
