About Me
I am moving to France sometime between summer and fall 2012 and would like to ship my motorcycle over there. I have a 2005 Honda CBR600RR but will most likely sell and buy a newer one (like 2007 or 08) as it's getting pretty old. Both models are virtually the same dimensions and weight so I don't think there should be much difference in price for shipping, if any.
I would also appreciate any help in what to expect when I arrive in Marseille to pick up the bike as far as terminal fees or whatever I need to register/insure and detax the bike so I can ride and eventually sell it in France. I am willing to consider other destinations in Europe (as long as it's fairly close to Lyon, France) and form of shipping (air, sea ect.) but all I really care about is getting the bike over safely without damage for a reasonable price and within a few weeks from dropping it off at Long Beach.
