Pickup was delayed due to weather (heavy rain and high winds). I will not risk towing a trailer under these conditions. There was also a misunderstanding about Manheim's hours of operation for pickup; pickup was not possible over the weekend, resulting in additional delay. Paul was understanding and is great to deal with.

nice try but our policy is cash only (WHICH IS THE REAL PROBLEM ) after being told this he met me on a sunday with a check.i told him we dont accept checks and he started to complain about car dirty,ect ect .i said to bad cash only , after that cash suddenly appeared then he tried to beat me down on the bill.the truck was picked up within time allowed.THIS GUY IS THE REASON I DONT TAKE CHECKS!!! i guess 1 out of every 50 is not too bad.im sure ill meet more just like him,thats expected.

If anyone would like to see Eric's original note telling me he could pick the vehicle on 4/5 and get it to me by 4/9 I will be glad to forward that. Guy shows up 2 weeks late on a Sunday with no banks open and then tells me he wont take a check. I am also doubting he has insurance because he could not produce proof when asked to do so three times. BEWARE

Had a hard time keeping his promises as far as pick and delivery, but I understand things were crazy over the holidays. My customer who was on a tight schedule was having a fit, but we got it to him under the wire

The booking was for Saturday pickup and delivery. Manheim is open 24/7, but neither of us realized that they do not process pickups on weekends. That pushed the pickup to Monday, when a severe storm came through the area. The high winds and heavy rain made it unsafe to tow a trailer, further delaying the pickup until the weather cleared. The customer did receive his "new" car in time for his trip, which is what counts.
