I am a retired high school special education teacher living on Long Island in New York. I have been an E bay, Craigslist, etc. buyer for many years. I often buy antique, vintage and second hand furniture and other household items rather than buying new. I am hoping that by joining Uship, I will be able to purchase and arrange shipping for more of those types of items that were previously not available to me because of the distance from my home. In addition, I would like to be able to occasionally sell the same types of items to buyers in similar situations outside of Long Island. Just like everyone else on a budget, I am hoping to gain access to more sellers (and buyers) while at the same time saving some money by using the transportation vendors I find using this U ship method!
