About Me
New House. Unfortunately since I moved, I had difficulty updating my UShip profile successfully with my new contact information. (Telephone numbers are stored in 2 different locations.) This resulted in my most recent attempt to move a sofa having to be cancelled due to the use of an out-of-date telephone number stored in my profile I could not successfully change. FINALLY, this problem has been fixed and my correct number is stored. After booking, please confirm number you will use and we should have no problem. Thank you for your help!

I have not been able to contact the customer after a reasonable period of time. In addition, I did send an email right after booking this move saying, we would be out working the whole day and wouldnt have internet access to respone to messages or emails & to please call me in the afternoon to arrange for pickup in the evening. (Left Austin @ 5:00am, had a pickup in New Waverly, then in Spring, then in Houston, then made the attempt to pickup sofa then drove back to Austin, all in 1 day). Presented an Alt option for the next day but declined due to a not much higher price.

I have not been able to contact the customer after a reasonable period of time. We have tried to contact Margaret several times today to move her couch. We spoke yesterday that we would be moving it the next day. We have other shipments to do before/after her couch. Since we have received no response we can no longer do this shipment. We apologize for not being able to do this.

I no longer need my item(s) shipped The Service Provider used the number on an out-dated UShip profile (not his fault). We were therefore unable to communicate in time to coordinate the shipment at the agreed upon date. I would recommend this service provider to anyone and would use again. I just need to update my contact information in BOTH places on the USHIP profile. (I had just updated Communication Preferences.)

The Service Provider did not show up at agreed upon date and time After emailing and my calling to confirm the shipment/ move, the carrier used an old phone number from a uShip profile. Note: I cannot see that an old number is stored in my profile. I called to confirm the shipment from my correct number and they confirmed they would arrive Tuesday afternoon. By Tuesday evening they had not arrived so I called them again (2nd contact) and they said they had not reached me and not come by.I received no calls or emails at to alert me that they tried to come.

We had to cancel this shipment due to an incorrect contact number on the Uship information. 99% of the time the numbers we are given to contact customers are correct on their profile. We do not go to any address until we have made contact that day. It was in our error that we didn't write that number down as we assumed it was the same as our Uhsip info we had for her. She needs to update her number so this doesn't happen again to another service provider. We tried to call her 3 times.
