A scheduling conflict arose that could not be resolved After reviewing the Yachts survey and phone conversations with both the surveyor and the owner the yacht was not ready for delivery with in the time frame and the owner is attempting to correct the items needed for future delivery. Not knowing if I will be available at that time he has requested a cancellation. All equipment needed for the delivery was not on the yacht when booked, the weather window was not good and everything seemed to be working against us.

Transport shipper requires some follow up to ensure delivery on schedule. Day of delivery, driver was late yet I had to wait for vehicle to be off loaded. After I called Transport, I made contact with driver so we were able to work it out. Transport representative called 2 times regarding payment within 3 hours as if I was delaying his payment intentionally. It could have been a good experience!

The Yacht was not ready and all equipment was not on board. Phone conversations with both the surveyor and owner confirmed that the yacht was not ready. Since it was not ready and did not appear that it was likely with in the contract time frame and it was uncertain if I would be available at the future ship date the shipper requested a cancellation and refund.
