Why sign up for booking requests?

• Present your rates to moving customers before they reach the uShip marketplace. When you enter your local moving rates, uShip will show your company and rates to local customers in your area, giving you access to these moves before they are listed on the uShip marketplace.
• Get exclusive, pre-paid booking requests delivered straight to your inbox.
  All booking requests are exclusive to the Service Provider requested and pre-paid by the customers, so all you have to do is accept and the business is yours!

How do booking requests work?

When a shipper lists a local household move in your service area, they will be presented local moving companies and rates and given the opportunity to send an exclusive, pre-paid booking request for their services. These booking requests are:

• Secured with a pre-paid deposit equal to your uShip fee for that move.
• Exclusively guaranteed to the Service Provider requested, which means you have 36 hours to respond before the move is listed on the uShip marketplace.

Example: Local Move Booking Requests

When a shipper lists a local move (less than 50 mi.) in an area where you have provided moving rates, they will be shown your company and rates (A) along with other local moving companies.

The shipper can then choose to send a pre-paid booking request (B), which will be emailed to you.

You have 36 hours to accept or reject this booking request. If you accept the booking request (C), you will be given the customers contact information to work out additional details.

If you cannot service this move, the customer will have the option to request services from another company or list their local move in the uShip marketplace.

To receive local moves booking requests, you must enter your moving rates and areas in to My Rates (D).
