I bought my 2008 Ducati Monster S4Rs Tricolore through an eBay auction to replace a previous auction purchase. The first bike was the same model and, unfortunately, didn't turn out to be the viable project I was told it was. I searched the internet for my first shipment and got a reasonable service provider, but I thought that their price was high.
This second bike was located in Ohio and I am in New Brunswick, Canada roughly 1100 miles away. Going to get it wasn't an option for me, so I had to have it shipped.
I didn't know anything about uShip when I bought the bike, but the seller suggested that it was the place to go, and I soon found out why! Within minutes of posting my shipment, I had several bids to look over from various companies. I actually expected that I wouldn't see any action for a day or two, but the response was very quick.
I liked the ability to look at feedback for each of the companies and not just their offers. I also learned that low-bid is not necessarily the best one and sometimes it pays to wait a while. The difference was ~$50 but the feedback score was much different!
Shortly after selecting teamrio as my service provider, I received an e-mail confirming my selection. The next morning, we received a call from them asking me to contact them to make arrangements. I was impressed by the professionalism exibited by Peter, the driver, when we spoke. He spent several minutes describing their service and how they take care of their clients. This was something I definitely didn't receive on my first shipment! They even wanted to look at the eBay auction so they could have the seller point out any damage and ensure that there were no surprises waiting for me!
I was extremely satisfied with my uShip experience and with teamrio! I've recommended the service to several friends recently. I can come back to uShip again knowing that I'll be able to find the best deal around for the shipping services I need. Thanks for everything!
