My first experience with UShip has been 100% positive. It is relatively simple to use and you as the customer get a true competitive response from a number of good - experienced truckers or haulers. The bids come in relatively quickly and I found that by placing your item, pickup, and delivery point out there for at least a day or two, more truckers will have the opportunity to bid. If its located along a route they are already taking, you might get an even better rate or price. I used Taylor Welty (KnowsBikes) and had a great experience for the whole procedure. This is a great transportation system that puts the little guy and the big guy on a level playing field. I've shipped a number of bikes over the years; but with UShip - this is the way to GO.
