I got a middle man who used a company going out of business to ship my wife's heirloom cryatal. She had 20 pieces of 100 year old crystal. The company showed up without proper materials, packaged it by putting in invaluable crystal and over 1/2 of the pieces arrived broken.
UShip just walked away. They said, "we are not responsible for the shippers who use UShip." It was deplorable.
I like UShip but I learned that UShip is ethically challenged and won't back up anything when stuff arrrives busted up.
I learned also to not use any shipper without a long record of shipping.
