I shipped a Canoe from Michagan to North Carolina for a third of the cost of regular frieght in a third of the time! I found UShip through a web search, it seemed logical that this type of service existed, but didn't know of it in fact. When I read the site and took a no-risk chance by posting my shipping need, I was completely surprised to find 3 shippers willing to carry my canoe to me. While I was initially skeptical of the service, the feedback mechanism mitigated my doubts. My shipper was communicative and understanding. His policy was understanding of 'newbies" to Uship, and we worked a deal that suited us both. After my initial posting on a Monday, the Canoe arrived 8 days later in great condition. I would use uShip again.
