This transaction just confirms what I suspected. 2 satisfying transactions within a week when contracted directly to the independent family carrier rather than leaving it in the hands of a broker. The independent guys usually do what they say they will and stay in touch with you if you specify that kind of service. The brokers MAY or MAY NOT get your load placed and you have no idea who is handling your valuables after they dispatch it. I'm staying with the small family type haulers.
