I had stuff in storage for 4 years from when I lived on the West Coast and had been trying to find a reasonable way to transport it back to the East Coast. I decided to try uShip. It worked out beautifully. I paid less than $1 per pound on 1540 lbs. of household goods and first class service. This website reminds me of eBay and is a very efficient way to connect buyers and sellers. I would highly recommend the service for anyone looking to transport good cross-country. I used OnTheMoveforyou (Mark Bibbee), who did an excellent job. He was very easy to contact, took great care in shipping my things and got the things here very quickly (less than a week from WA to GA). I will definitely be looking to use uShip if the need arises again. It's very nice to finally have all my stuff back in one place and cut out the monthly storage fees!
