We live in PA and our son is getting married in NC in the next month. He and his fiancee each only had a full size bed, so we had offered them the king-size bed in our guest bedroom. The only problem was how to get the headboard, frame, and mattress to them. After searching the internet, I came across Uship and decided to give it a try. I took pictures of the items and listed my shipment on the Saturday evening of Memorial Day. By Sunday afternoon, I had 3 bids. I decided to go with albtransportation. I really liked the quick responses I received on the couple of questions that I had about the process. I also liked the fact that they had two people on each truck, so I wouldn't have to help with getting the stuff onto the truck. Anthony, with albtransportation, was great. He called on Memorial Day to say that he would be able to pick-up on Tuesday early afternoon. He called to give me a 2 hours heads-up and then again about 30 minutes before they arrived. They loaded the items professionally and I was back to work within 30 minutes. The items were delivered to NC within 2 days and that process went smoothly as well. When I take into account that we would have had to rent a truck, pay for the gas, and probably take at least one day off work, I figure we saved at least $100 and certainly saved our time, energy, and aggravation as well. I will definitely recommend Uship and albtransportation to others.
