My father-in-law built a piece of furniture for us. The problem was that it was in CA and we live in TN. We were stumped as to how we would get it here. We looked into renting a van or shipping it vis UPS. The van idea wouldn't work and UPS was WAY too expensive. I happened upon uShip and listed our item. We got several bids and was able to accept one at a price less than I expected (less than 1/2 of UPS and they went door-to-door!). Overall, I am very happy with my uShip experience. I don't know how else we could have gotten it here.
