The long and short of it is this: I found a used 1200 pound commercial riding lawn tractor on E-Bay. It was in southern Florida, I am in Minnesota. I soon discovered that the cost of shipping by major carrier was very expensixe and they want merchandize wrapped, palletized and delivered to their dock to boot.
I was about ready to drive the 3,000 miles and pick it up myself but my wife had the idea to google the web and see if there was an online facilitator who could set us up with someone affordable.
